Episode 1: It's All Happening

Natalie and Alicia have joined the Knitting Guild Association.
They applied and were awarded the memorial fund scholarship!
Thank you to the knitting guild association committee!
Alicia has purchased Lion Brand Fisherman’s Wool. Natalie has purchased both the Fisherman’s wool and Paton’s Classic Wool.

Master Plan: (6:18)
Alicia and Natalie will receive the program through the Knitting Guild Association, read the instructions thoroughly, and begin blocking research.

Alicia is currently working on:
1. Blank Canvas by Ysolda- Malabrigo Arroyo in Prussia Blue OWL
2. Traveling Woman Shawl by Liz Abinante- KnitPicks Capretta in Cream
merino, nylon, cashmere blend BROOM
3. A Good Plain Sock by Stephanie Pearl McPhee- KnitPicks Stroll, Blue Yonder Tonal

Natalie is currently working on:
1. Tubed socks for the girls out of Blue Striped Ragg leftovers.
Natalie mentions her daughters' Baby + Toddler Tiered Coat and Jacket by Lisa Chemery and Alicia mentions Natalie's sister-in-law's wedding shawl.
2. Kenny's stocking, A NEW Family Portrait - A Collection of Three Christmas Stockings by Dorene Delaney Giordano in Cascade 220 Sport.  Dad stocking
3. Alicia's wedding shawl Aphrodite by Sivia Harding using Juniper Moon Farm Findley in this lovely pale blue wedding shawl

Dropped stitches: (22:11)
Natalie’s socks are too big and actually dropped a stitch. Natalie also discussed frustration with echo flower shawl pattern.
Alicia knit two very different sizes of the Star Crossed Slouchy Baret by Natalie Larson.

Master Pieces: (28:15)
Natalie finished her LoveSocks by Devon Clement in a ombre black to white colorway of Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball and Araucania Ranco Solid in a dark red.
She finished blue striped Ragg socks, Losely using the pattern Self Striping Toe Up Socks by Susan A Gordon in Patons Kroy Sock yarn in the Blue Striped Ragg made famous by Jasmin from knitmoregirls and many others on instragram, February sock part of sock a month. Natalie mentions the Knitgirllls Afterthought Heel tutorial.

Alicia is most proud of her Melia by Ysolda Teague. 

Natalie is proud of her handspun, dyed, knit Calligraphy cardigan by Hannah Fettig.

Natalie has been enjoying family time at the beach while Alicia has been living for snuggling up on the weekends and excited about the return of her shows!
