Lish’s finished Brickless for the KAL
This week’s segments include Master Status, Master Plan, In our Hands, Dropped Stitches, Masterpieces, Share the Love, Study Hall, Simply Selfie, Raise your hand, and Comfort Zone.
Master Status (2:13):
Natalie BLOCKED! She sorted swatches that need to be re-knit and plan to take the ones she blocked to be checked out by some others. She is going to connect with knitters completing the program at her NEW knitting guild meeting!
Alicia finally blocked! She didn’t get to knit swatch 9 and 10 but she has a new found energy for program after blocking. She sorted through swatches and noticed 7 and 8 are a little bigger. She used the wrong needle size! Here are the resources she used to sort through her mystery swatches. Arenda Holladay, labels her actual swatches. Knitting Help, has a helpful diagram.
Master Plan (6:20):
Alicia is going to knit swatch 9 and 10 and start questions.
Natalie wants to work on her binder.

In our hands (8:05):
Alicia is working on Fontainebleau Lace Scarf by Joan Hughes knit with Seed Lace from The Fiber Seedin a flamingo colorway. She was going to cast on Strappy Stella Gloves by Monica Clark knit with Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend, 65% Acrilic 35% wool blend in Holly Berry colorway (but couldn’t get guage while recording).
Natalie is working on her August socks in Lana Grossa Meilenweit 100 Marmi. She is knitting a 4x2 rib toe up, afterthought heel sock. She is also working on Hitofude Cardigan by Hiroko Fukatsu inThe Fiber Seed Sprout Solidsin the Elephant colorway.

YAY! We were sorted! Looks like another term to ROAR for Gryffindor!

Master Pieces (13:39):
2.) Super chunky infinity scarf knitting with needle size 50 with Lion Brand Thick and Quick.
ARM knitting infinifty scarves. Grey, Blue, Brown, Cream
Natalie: 1. Grey Brown Marl July socks, knit in Patons Kroy sock yarn. Lish asks Nataliewhy her socks are baggy saggy.

Simply Selfie (26:40):
Alicia has been busy with the festival- lots of knitting orders. She met 2 more of her friends’ babies. She is settling into school. Good things have been going on at the shop, she and her husband were able to upgraded equipment. They have also been working on some things around the house and have been canning their garden harvest!
Natalie has been sick and the girls have been sick but she is looking on the brightside: life is good. They’ve been going to parks as a family and walking and playing together and just enjoying each other.
Raise your Hand (32:41):
This week Alicia asks Natalie: Treasure hunting: what do you do with a great find before adding it in your stash? Natalie shares tips on how to keep from contaminating your stash.
Comfort zone (38:01):
Alicia is enjoying fall! She put up some fall decor, embracing all things pumpkin, and enjoying the first real hints of cool evenings.
Natalie is also enjoying fall in FL as well as Sunday walks with her family.
